Terms and Conditions – Amazing Serengeti Safaris
These Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”) govern your use of the services provided by Amazing Serengeti Safaris (“Company”), including but not limited to safari tours and related activities in Tanzania. By booking a safari or using our services, you acknowledge and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before proceeding.
1. Booking Confirmation:
a. All bookings are subject to availability. Once your booking is confirmed, you will receive a confirmation email containing details of your safari package and any additional services requested.
b. The booking is considered confirmed only upon receipt of the required deposit or full payment, as specified by the Company.
c. The Company reserves the right to decline or cancel a booking for any reason, including insufficient availability or failure to make payment.
2. Payment:
a. Payment can be made via bank transfer or online payment gateway, as instructed by the Company.
b. All fees, including safari package costs, additional services, and applicable taxes, must be paid in full before the commencement of the safari, unless otherwise agreed upon.
c. Any bank charges or transaction fees incurred during the payment process are the responsibility of the client.
3. Cancellation and Refunds:
a. Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to the Company. The cancellation will be effective upon receipt of the written request.
b. The following cancellation fees apply:
i. More than 60 days prior to the safari start date: Full refund, minus any non-refundable deposits.
ii. 30-60 days prior to the safari start date: 50% refund of the total safari cost.
iii. Less than 30 days prior to the safari start date: No refund.
c. The Company reserves the right to cancel a safari due to unforeseen circumstances, such as natural disasters, political unrest, or inadequate group size. In such cases, a full refund or alternative options will be offered.
4. Travel Insurance:
a. Travel insurance is mandatory for all clients and should be obtained prior to the safari. It is the client’s responsibility to ensure adequate coverage for personal injury, medical expenses, baggage loss, trip cancellation, and other unforeseen events.
b. The Company is not liable for any loss, injury, or damage sustained by the client during the safari, including but not limited to accidents, illnesses, or theft.
5. Health and Safety:
a. Clients must comply with any health and safety guidelines provided by the Company and its staff.
b. It is the client’s responsibility to obtain necessary vaccinations, medications, and comply with any health requirements specified by the Tanzanian authorities.
6. Changes to Itinerary:
a. The Company reserves the right to modify the safari itinerary due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to weather conditions, park regulations, or road closures.
b. Reasonable efforts will be made to provide suitable alternatives or compensate for any significant changes.
7. Liability:
a. The Company is not liable for any loss, damage, injury, or delay incurred by the client or any third party during the safari, unless caused by the Company’s negligence.
b. The client acknowledges that wildlife safaris involve inherent risks, and the Company cannot guarantee the presence, behavior, or safety of wildlife species.
8. Intellectual Property:
a. All content, including text, images, videos, and logos, displayed on the Company’s website and promotional materials, are the property of Amazing Serengeti Safaris and protected by copyright laws. Any unauthorized use or reproduction is strictly prohibited.
9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction:
a. This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with
the laws of Tanzania.
b. Any disputes arising from or in connection with this Agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tanzanian courts.
